IT'S SUMMERTIME!!!

Summer has arrived and that means summer riding camps at Winning Strides. Over the next eight weeks 48 young people will be learning new skills and spending time with the horses and each other at our facility. The camps run from 9:30am to 3:30pm so there will be lots of activity throughout the day.
Our days are longer now so make sure you take advantage of the cooler evenings to get out and be active whether it is on a horse or out for a stroll…

The Richard Caldwell Clinic was a great success! Thank you to everyone who attended. Richard will be returning to Alberta in fall of 2011 at 3 locations to be determined. We now have available the Josh Nichol Groundwork Series DVDs to purchase. It is a valuable learning tool for all levels of horsemanship.

Journey's Therapeutic Riding
Some students from A.B. Daley Community School spent six weeks riding horses at Laurie Messner's stables, called Winning Strides. The horse riding program is called "Journey's Therapeutic Riding" and is for students and adults who would benefit from the therapeutic benefits of riding a horse.
